A Thanksgiving note from Dr. K:
Can you believe it’s already Thanksgiving!?!?!?
This year has been, well, a year. I sat down the other day and thought about everything I am thankful for despite the year we have had.
I am thankful for my health, my family and friends including ALL of my four legged fury “kids”. I am thankful for being an essential business and remaining open throughout the pandemic. I am thankful for my incredible staff. I am especially thankful for all of you, my wonderful, loyal and extremely understanding clients and every single furry patient!!!!!!
I hope everyone can find something to be thankful for during this extremely challenging
year.
A note on our limited hours:
As you all know we are still on limited hours. I would like to take an opportunity to explain. Being an essential business allows us to remain open during lockdowns but it means we have to be diligent to protect the health of our staff and clients. The vast majority of veterinary practices are offering curb side service only. Many practices that have 2 or more doctors are splitting in to teams. This is one of the reasons for the extra wait times at emergency hospitals. The C.M.C. Memorial Four Town Veterinary hospital is a single doctor practice and unfortunately cannot split into teams as we are the only team. Every other day appointment hours allows us the opportunity, that if a staff member or I become ill, we can make other arrangements for scheduled appointments and quarantine times for the staff as needed. This is not ideal but our priority is the health and safety of our staff, clients and patients. As the situation improves we are looking to expand hours to include Saturday. We ask for your continued loyalty, support and unyielding understanding and patience. This is new for all of us and we need to remember we are all in this together.
Wishing you and yours a happy, healthy and safe Thanksgiving!!!!!
