To Our Valued Clients:

WE APPRECIATE YOU AND APPRECIATE YOUR CONTINUED PATIENCE AND SUPPORT

HOWEVER….THE VETERINARIAN AND VETERINARY STAFF SHORTAGES ARE REAL!!!

The last 18 months have been insane, not only has there been a dramatic increase in pet ownership, but veterinarians had to go to skeleton hours/crews to offset the COVID 19 risk. This left us with a dramatic increase in case load with many fewer hands to see these cases.

THERE IS ONLY SO MUCH ONE PERSON CAN DO AT A TIME and yet we tried to do as much as we could. This all led to exhaustion, burnout and other health issues. Many veterinarians and staff quit, leaving the profession entirely, unfortunately, others resorted to suicide. For me this is unacceptable.

We as veterinarians and our veterinary staff are truly committed to helping and caring for our patients but THERE IS ONLY SO MUCH ONE PERSON CAN DO AT A TIME. We make every effort to see as many patients as we can with the staff and time available to give all the attention your pet deserves.

SCREAMING, SWEARING, BULLYING or GUILT TRIPPING any staff member does nothing but leave said staff feeling abused and inadequate, for some it leads to quitting the profession leading to further staff shortages. IT WILL NOT GET YOU IN SOONER.

I CAN NOT SAY THIS ENOUGH: THERE IS ONLY SO MUCH ONE PERSON CAN DO AT A TIME.

I REFUSE to allow myself or any member of my staff to become a statistic.

My advice; don’t wait, call early, be patient, be respectful, BE KIND.

WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!
